Hello my new blogging friends. I had a workshop today for my sister Becky. We had a great time stamping some cute cards, if I don't say so my self! So, I wanted to share them with you. First of all, here is the St. Patrick's Day Easel card I was telling you about, cute huh!!! What is hard to see in the picture is that the hearts are COVERED with GLITTER. Here is what I did: Stamp hearts with Garden Green classic ink. Then cut them out, press them into the versamark pad and emboss them with Iridescent Ice powder. Super pretty! Here is the recipe for this card:
Stamps:I heart heart clear mount stampset: the St. Patricks Day greeting was created by using the MDS. Click here to print out a sheet of these St. Patricks Day Greetings.
Inks: Garden Green, Versa Mark Paper: Garden Green, Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla. Supplies: Scallop Trim Border, Scallop Trim Corner, Wide Oval, Scallop Oval, Large Oval, Extra Large Two Step Bird Punches. Accessories: Crystal Brads, Dimensionals, 5/8 Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon.
We Had a lot of fun stamping talking and of course playing with the baby!!!
Really getting down to buisness.
And Now For The X-Large Fancy Flower Card
I cased this card from Pat Dion. It's the swap card she brought to our last demonstrator meeting. I changed it a bit by using the build a brad for the center of my flower.I loved the use of the ornament punch for the vase. This punch is so versitile I'm happy they brought it back and are putting it in the new Stampin Up 2010-2011 catalog. Here's the recipe. We really just used punches on this card. I did use the whimsical words with rose red ink on the inside of the card. Punches XL Fancy Flower, Ornament. the crimper, Paper: Whisper White, Rose Red, Sweet Pea Pack. Accessories: Build A Brad, 1/2 in Circle Punch, Pop up Glue Dots, Perfect Polka Dot Folder, Big Shot.
I like seeing customers using their own creativity in making the projects. Here Corinna only used 2 flower punches and folded them (not sure you can see it well in the picture).

P.S., How do you get your guests to keep the table looking so neat and clean?? I had a class this weekend and after it was over, it looked like a bomb went off!
